The title of CSA is designated by the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, or Clery Act, An internet search for “Campus Security Authority” will highlight this role at universities across the nation. The designation of faculty and staff as a CSA is motivated by the university community’s commitment to student safety.
All CSAs are required to complete a Percipio training that will take approximately 40 minutes to complete. As a CSA, you are obligated to complete this training so that you understand your responsibilities under the Clery Act.
